For my childhood, the band was broken up, but surely enough, the Zimbabwe shows were my chance to see them. Standing there, with my father (who passed just a couple years later) as I was finishing high school, seeing the guys pop up on the van about 10 ft from our seats, I looked at my father and we shared a moment of awe and inspiration that night. 3 amazing musicians performing raw, on top of a van in the middle of Madison Square Garden.
